A full roof replacement makes sense when a roofing system has truly reached the end of its useful life. But replacing an aging roof that is still structurally sound can mean paying for a complete tear-off years before it is necessary.Ever-Seal Nano is designed to extend the useful life of qualifying asphalt shingle roofs without removing the shingles already protecting your home. That means less disruption, less waste, and a significantly lower investment than premature replacement.

Roof rejuvenation and roof replacement are not interchangeable solutions. Ever-Seal Nano is intended to preserve a roof that still has useful life remaining, not disguise a roof that has already failed.
Asphalt shingles naturally change as they age. Years of sun, heat, rain and temperature swings gradually deplete the oils that keep asphalt flexible. As shingles dry out, they can become brittle, shed protective granules and become more vulnerable to cracking and weather damage.
But an aging roof is not necessarily a failed roof. If the shingles and underlying system are still structurally sound, Ever-Seal Nano can help restore properties lost through aging and extend the useful life of the roof you already own.

As asphalt loses flexibility, shingles become less able to expand, contract, and withstand everyday weather exposure.

Aging shingles can begin shedding the protective granules that help shield the asphalt from UV exposure and weather.

A roof showing signs of age may still have years of useful service left if it is treated before deterioration progresses too far.
Ever-Seal Nano, in partnership with GoNano is designed for qualifying asphalt shingle roofs that still have useful life remaining. Our treatment helps restore aging shingles while reinforcing them from within, giving homeowners another option before premature roof replacement becomes necessary.
Many roof treatments focus on creating a layer on top of the shingle or replenishing surface properties for a limited time. Ever-Seal Nano, in partnership with GoNano, is designed to do more. Its Structural Roof Rejuvenation technology penetrates the asphalt shingle, works at the nano scale, and reinforces the existing material from within.
Professional roof rejuvenation treatments can restore depleted oils, improve flexibility, and strengthen aging shingles. Ever-Seal Nano takes that same principle to the nano scale. Developed in partnership with GoNano, it uses nanosilica particles measuring just 40–60 nanometers, small enough to penetrate into the natural pore structure of the asphalt shingle.
Once inside the shingle, the nano-scale technology is designed to bond with the asphalt matrix, allowing the treatment to work deep within the existing material rather than relying on protection at the surface.

Asphalt shingles contain microscopic pores and voids that become increasingly important as the material ages. Ever-Seal Nano’s extremely small particle size allows the treatment to move deep into that pore structure rather than concentrating near the surface.By penetrating and filling those microscopic spaces, the treatment can interact with more of the existing asphalt material and reinforce the shingle from within.
Ever-Seal Nano is designed to restore what aging takes away while strengthening the material that remains. As the treatment penetrates the shingle, it replenishes depleted properties and bonds within the asphalt structure, helping improve flexibility, cohesion, and resistance to continued weathering. The result is not a new layer sitting on the roof. It is the existing shingle rejuvenated and reinforced from within.

Many roof rejuvenation products point to laboratory testing. GoNano goes further by testing its technology against the same standardized North American performance protocols used to evaluate roofing materials for impact, wind, and fire resistance. The technology behind Ever-Seal Nano, in partnership with GoNano, has achieved documented results under UL 2218, ASTM D3161, and UL 790, providing measurable performance benchmarks rather than relying solely on proprietary laboratory claims.
UL 2218 • CLASS 4
The highest impact-resistance classification under UL 2218. GoNano reports that its product elevated Class 1 shingles to Class 3 after one application and Class 4 after a second application. GoNano states that no other roof rejuvenation product has documented an equivalent Class 4 result under this standardized protocol.
ASTM D3161 • CLASS F
GoNano-treated shingles achieved Class F, the highest classification under ASTM D3161, corresponding to testing at approximately 110 mph sustained wind.
UL 790 • CLASS A
GoNano-treated roofing achieved Class A, the highest fire-resistance classification under UL 790 for roofing assemblies.
There is an important difference between a product being tested in a laboratory and being evaluated under a standardized industry protocol.Standardized tests such as UL 2218, ASTM D3161, and UL 790 use defined procedures and classifications, making the results meaningful beyond a manufacturer's own test method. GoNano says it has invested more than $1 million in third-party testing through organizations including UL Solutions, Impact Chemistry, and CNETE
